1956 Royal Quiet De Luxe Serial # AG3 310943 1956 Royal Quiet De Luxe typewriter, Serial # AG3 310943 Erik Bruchez's 1956 Royal Quiet De Luxe typewriter. 2020-11-03 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Erik Bruchez: 1956 Royal Quiet De Luxe Serial # AG3 310943 This is a "green" QDL, with the "AG" prefix. The green is not very green, to be fair. It really depends on the lighting.

This machine is in very good condition. The paint was very dirty when I got it, but it cleaned really well. There is one persistent black spot on the front right but if I insist, I fear that it will completely flatten the nice crinkle paint in that spot, and that would not be better.

I started collecting my first pre-WW2 standard typewriters in 2017. Since then I have added a few machines to my collection, which now ranges from the 1890s to the 1980s. As of 2020, I have more big standard (desktop) typewriters than portables, and a few standard electrics.
