Update: No longer the oldest SF in the database!
Another very ordinary Olympia SF, though in good optical condition. It does not work properly at the moment due to remnants of disintegrated foam in the mechanics. The only thing that makes this machine interesting is the fact that it is currently the oldest SF in the database.

Actually working with computers in my professional life I take the old mechanics as a compensation. I prefer machines manufactured before WWII, but I don't despise beautiful and good working typewriters from the fifties and sixties like e.g. the Olympia Splendid.
