Description:
Pretty sure I'm correct on the year here. Anyway, this was my first typewriter; I have a lot of sentimental attachment to it, and I love the easy touch. So I honored it with a custom paint job. I had an automotive guy hit it with my favorite shade of green, then I added the enamel fox and scrollwork to the front myself. I also did the paper table since taking it off for the automotive guy was too involved. The alignment needs some adjusting at this point but it could be worse.

Longtime poet with seven typewriters in my collection currently (not counting ones I'm in the process of selling). I'm a super speedy typist, so my favorite machines are the ones that require the lightest touch to operate. Over the years I have learned the hard way that how light of a touch a typewriter requires is definitely subjective; many machines others say are "easy", I find cumbersome. But I love all my machines and collecting them is sadly addictive (sadly since they are difficult to acquire on the cheap locally, and they certainly take up more space than my knickknack collection. Ha).
