1954 Royal HH Serial # HHS 512160 1954 Royal HH typewriter, Serial # HHS 512160 Trevor London's 1954 Royal HH typewriter. 2020-07-12 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Trevor London: 1954 Royal HH Serial # HHS 512160 Sans-serif font-- not Vogue, but close. This typewriter came with another HH, from a lot of eight machines I bought from a junk dealer. All eight had been stored in various places around the barn for decades. This HHS has some math symbols, the other has no printing on the keytops. I think these two have been together since they were new, and were in a school-- blank keytops being for teaching typing. Its a romantic idea and until I find out different, its what I'm going with. Normally I wouldn't be very very interested in a HH, but these two are awesome and I'm keeping them both, theyve been together 63 years and I'll never desperate-- desperate? I re-read this later, it says DESPERATE. One thing I just love about typewriters-- THEY DONT TRY TO CORRECT YOU. Seperate. SEPERATE them.
The pic of the front is the only one I have for the moment, when I'm at storage again I'll take more. The type sample is incomplete because the ribbon came off and I couldn't be bothered to put it back. When I get it cleaned up and all and a new ribbon I'll make another sample.it looks like Vogue with some differences, what is this font called?
