Description:
It is obviously a Torpedo, under the Remington Brand. Even the keyboard is a german one, as you can easily see.
Excellent condition, and delicious to type with.
I have a little rule of thumb about portable typewriters I've found here and there: Does the typewriter have its box in "normal" condition? (usually all kind of portable typewriters leave the factory with a box or carrying bag). If the answer is YES, then you can expect a typewriter that was well maintainded by its previous owners. If the box or carrying bag is not present (and should be)... beware.
And if the box is present AND the box key is also present (and smoothly operates the box lock), then you have find a good typewriter: Go for it!
This was the case with this little and sturdy 63 years old portable.
