Bought this at a store in Michigan. I love Hermes 3000s (I have 5) and the Featherweight, Baby and Rocket (5 of these) but the 2000 did not excite me to use it. Secondly the drab grey color was boring. So, I shipped it off to Gerren in WA. Told him whatever he want. Love it now! Not has boring when I use it. T102

I have always enjoyed tinkering with mechanical "things". For a number of years my wife wanted an IBM Selectric, The machine she used many years ago as a secretary. In 2020 we found one at an auction and bought it for $15. It took another $150 for the typewriter repairman to get it working. That turned out to be T001 in our collection. In the beginning we bought whatever we found. Now I am concentrating on the portables rather than the older office machines. The collection is getting large and it is time to start posting on TWDB.
