Description:
I acquired a $6 version of this typewriter which came with a case that is still taken apart that we now refer to as the 6 dollar typewriter. We found this one the week after for $25, but in way better condition but without a case. So this typewriter now resides in the case for the $6 typewriter. I'm still on the fence if the $6 dollar typewriter will become a parts machine or not, but the typewriter which sadly has no name is a really nice typer. I'd love to find a 1948 or 1949 one with the tombstone glass keys but until this this one will do. I know that Royal is really proud of their Magic Margins but to me they are just annoying, even more so if you are trying to work on the machine at all. Oh well, being a pretty decent typer a few things can be forgiven, right? Update we sold this one in 2020 after acquiring a glass keyed Royal QDL and Arrow.
