Description:
Made in Great Britain, Pica typeface. In overall nice condition, with small spots of rust on the key levers. The pain is chipped on the paper pan, where the paper release lever rubs.
This came with its 2 original metal spools, and the original grey plastic spool covers, but they are badly warped, and not very nice looking.
The machine would not operate properly in lower case when I got it. The bottom plate was mounted front to back, trapping the tab linkage which prevented the ribbon lift bar from travelling all the way down. A big thank you to the few who uploaded pictures of the underside, which helped diagnose the issue.

Software engineer by day, and typewriter newbie by night.
I got my first typewriter when I was a child, one of the kid's plastic ones, but was not satisfied.
I moved on the first real one, a portable Silver-Reed Silverette S, which I still own today, and use once in a while.
