After cleaning it up I found it was in very good original condition. There are no wear marks on it and I don't think it had been used much and certainly hadn't been used for many years, as you can see from the date written under the lid.

Description:

I bought four typewriters as a lot from a guy I met at an estate sale and this was one of them. After cleaning it up I found it was in very good original condition. Dec 19/52 could be the last time the ribbon was changed before I got it. The condition of the machine looked consistent with it not having been used since the 50s.
