Description:
Another recent addition. Didn't need another Smith Corona manual, but my Tower is elite, so why not have a pica machine too? This ones nicer cosmetically than the Tower I own is, and I paid a criminally low price for it. Only downside is its in the quite drab chocolate brown color scheme,; probably the least attractive color these came in. Types nice though, and that's what really matters, isn't it? Platen is pretty hard, but I don't tend to use pica machines a great deal anyway. -Update- Machine was handed off to TB Writers Plus to find a new home...

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Sterling on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Sterling By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
