Description:
After reading Robert Messenger's great article on Alpina's history (referenced), I knew I had to get an Alpina typewriter. Being related to the Germain automotive company who modifies high-performance BMW models, this might be the cheapest way into an Alpina. This typewriter was listed on Ebay which I pruchased 50% off the asking price. It is a great typewriter and is very smooth. Everything works perfectly. Comes with a quite ugly faux-crocodile leather case and the two original cleaning brushes (one soft and one stiff).

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Alpina SK 24 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Alpina Serial Number page and the Alpina SK 24 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
