Description:
#106
The second from a friend's, parents, attic.
This was a mystery to me, the largest badge/logo at the top of the typewriter showed "Remington" but just below that was "Underwood Noiseless". It was also displayed "Underwood Limited" on the back, with "Made in Canada". I am grateful for the amount of information on this site, I can sleep tonight... If it should be a Remington, someone, please correct me.

"I was born in a crossfire hurricane"...
A professor in college gave me the gift and appreciation of the letter form.
Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.
I have an MFA in 3D Digital Sculpture.
I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood Noiseless Standard on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood Noiseless Standard By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
