Description:
In February 2024 I was gifted 8 typewriters by another collector who needed the space, This is one of them. I love the stripes! It arrived needing a drawband repair, which I did. My first! I love this mangy tough little guy. One paper support ear is missing, the T is set low, the Z is slightly bent & sometimes sticks, the shift hold is gummy, there is chipping paint on the back, and ink stains here and there. And still I LOVE THIS LITTLE GUY! Like a dapper tradesman who had been around and seen some things, but still he has good advice & stories in him. I'm going to make him a case, but for now he'll hang out with my other portables on the portables shelf.

So I pulled them out and fell in love with all things manual typewriter. In short order my aunt gifted me 2 more, a cousin set 3 my way, various friends were happy to unload typewriters from their attics & garages to my Home for Wayward Typewriters. ... So now, spring of 2023 I have a collection of 13 typewriters, in various stages of functionality, I have intent to fix them all, starting any day now. . . meanwhile, I am learning and documenting and dreaming
