I got this drab, brown SC 5S series from a fellow collector from Baltimore, MD in June of 2023. It works. I wrote Tom Hanks a note on this machine, complaining that I did not like the look of it... only to realize later that day that he holds up this very machine, in this color, as the one machine he'd take with him if he was stuck on a deserted isle. Oh well.
