What a delight! I got this wonderful Hermes 2000 from a fellow collector in New Hope, PA in March 2023. Curiously, it was right around the corner from an awesome natural spring, so I stopped to take some pictures. A good cleaning, tuning, and reconnecting some springs was about all it took to get it purring like it should. I definitely prefer the 2000 to the Hermes 3000, which I think is over-engineered and a little flashy. The 2000 is just right. It feels right, it works right, and everything is engineered to make sense.
