We have a very similar QDL or "A" series of this typewriter and to be honest it isn't my favorite to type on. So my expectations were low for the Arrow or "C" series given it's lower status, however to my surprise this Royal Arrow is a much better typer than our similar QDL. I really love the simplicity of this machine.
