Description:
May 2021 update—I gave this one to an 8 year-old neighbor girl who approached my garage sale table saying she has always wanted a typewriter. She writes books. We arranged with her mom it would be ok for me to give it to her and we’ve exchanged two letters so far. I’ll be supplying her with letterpress letterhead stationary to aid her letter writing. She said she’d like letterhead and will have to learn how to use it.
Just post-WWII production of a light-weight portable. Affordable and basic in design. This is a very good typer and clean. It does have some paint wear under the space bar. The carriage draw band was disconnected, but salvaged and reconnected without problem.

I have a passion for analog methods of putting words on paper. I own a letterpress shop that helps to fill this desire, but found typewriters also have a role in producing written materials with a value-added dimension. I'm drawn to working typewriters and renovate them as I am able. I'm pretty handy with things mechanical. Overall, I feel more like an enthusiast with a collection that will get used by design. I understand the temptation to buy them all, but I don't have a store to sell them in. I'm also no expert in repair, so it's a matter of finding the best typefaces and typing feel that helps me to get words on paper. Type on!
