Description:
This was a 'smashed typewriter. 4 keys were bent (2 still are) and the type bars will not sit flat at rest. Most would pass. The platen is a bit pliable! The steel is top quality, no rust anywhere. One of my favorite typewriters. Type feel is buttery, almost Olympia & Hermes type feel.

Born and raised less than a quarter mile from The Noiseless factory in Middletown, CT. (It was Remington Rand by the time I came around). I was getting interested in mechanical typewriters when my wife brought home a blue 1965 Smith-Corona Sterling in perfect condition. Now I own 21 mechanical and 3 electric typewriters!
