Description:
I saw this machine way back in, I think, April at one of the other antique store that I frequent.
I was interested, but not too interested, so I did not give it much thought.
Now, three months later, I had a closer look and found that it was in pretty good shape without any real issues, other than a missing/broken spring on the line space lever. The platen and feedrollers are in very good shape; the platen still has quite a bit of life in it! It even has the ribbon caps!
The storekeeper, told me that she had had a standing offer of $50 for it but the person had not taken it and she had not heard from them in some time, so I bought it.
It works very well and now the return lever spring has been replaced it is very nice to use. I also found that this machine has a 'true' tabulator, not the normal 'self starter' or 'paragraph' key!
Update - 7/22/2017 - type sample added.

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
