Description:
I'd always wanted a Smith-Corona Clipper like this 1947 model with the little airplane logo, so when I found one at Herman Price's typewriter gathering in West Virginia in 2019, I gladly snapped it up. It was rusty and mildewy, but after a lot of cleaning and de-rusting, it types like a dream, and surprisingly quiet. I enjoy grading on it, with a blue/green ribbon.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Clipper on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Clipper By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
