Description:
Was gifted this model in a pretty filthy condition but amazingly all functions sort of worked. After cleaning and tweaking it typed great. The Magic Margins work most of the time. The 14 inch platen is a little intimidating and takes a little more effort to throw the carriage. Weighs just over 31 lbs but seems a lot heavier. This is my first and probably only desktop.

Retired. Have been a Photography geek for many years...old school film. Also have been an audiophile and have been collecting vinyl before it became fashionable. Accidently(?) began collecting typewriters in the early1980's...I had four by 2006. After I inherited my mothers Hermes 3000 in 2017 my interest really took off and now I have 28 typewriters in total. The majority of my collection are Smith Corona's largely because they are plentiful, easy to work on and are very good typers.
