Description:
Found in an antique store in mostly working condition. It had a moderate layer of external grime, and the inner mechanics were heavily gummed from over-lubrication. Disassembled for cleaning, reassembled, repaired a broken typebar link, and oiled.

While I've long had a distant interest in typewriters, only recently did I allow the impulse to take hold and bring a Royal home from an antique store. I knew nothing about it, but it seemed to be in fairly decent working order. I peeked into a small hole of the Internet to determine the age and how to make some small repairs, and found myself hurling into another dimension. All around me were fantastic precision machines spanning the decades with distinctive designs and even egos, and bands of people circling them, equally distinctive. I wanted in.
