Description:
This one came from my boss for $20. He said his wife had got it and intended to fix it up and sell it... 15 years ago. He'd had it out at every garage sale since then and it'd never been sold. So now it's my favorite to use, in spite--or perhaps because--of a flaw with the lower-case "t" that you'll see in the typeface specimen, if I ever get to making one of those. You will note that the keys seem faded or darkened under the key covers. That is rather annoying. You're right. It's terrible. Fun at the same time, but as I train up, I won't be able to tell.

I am a student, father, and metrologist (gauges, not weather), Dungeon Master and typewriter tinkerer extraordinaire! I've only been at collecting and fixing since August 2018, but I already am a more confident person. I have learned a great deal from many of the wonderful resources available on the Internet, and I've met a lot of awesome people in my travels! Hopefully some folks can say the same about me!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal KMM on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal KMM By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
