Description:
My first working typewriter, badged from a shop and picked up at a local antique mall. Still one of my favorite machines. Matte lacquer paint is in good condition. 'A' key was broken and glued on upside-down at some point...with super glue, which melted some of the bakelite. Noiseless mechanism works sorta; this machine sounds like bouncing tack on a galloping horse. It's rather endearing.

Typewriter maven, steampunk geek and a fat chick on a scooter. Have lots of very specific yet generally trivial information stored in me noggin. I tend to have a one-track mind and am OCD into near-neuroticisim over things I know, love and enjoy. An all-round jovial nerd.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Noiseless 7 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Noiseless 7 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
