This is a gorgeous 1941 Underwood Noiseless portable typewriter, with the grey anti-glare crinkle paint, also purchased from a fellow typewriter collector in Ontario, NY in May, 2023. My understanding is that this exemplary specimen once belonged to the floor manager at the Smith Corona typewriter factory.
