I found this 1941 Royal KMM at an Estate Sale in August of 2022 for under $50. It's in good working order after a general cleaning/maintenance. It has a service sticker on the front plate from Oregon Typewriter & Recorder Co. in Portland, Oregon. Merit Elite 12 pitch type face.

I don't want to be a "collector" but I simply can't help myself! I bought my first at an estate sale in 2004. I haven't used many different models, but I do love everything about Royal typewriters. I strive to type on at least one of my machines every day.
