Her son had wanted a typewriter a few years ago after seeing a Peanuts cartoon with Snoopy atop his dog house typing. He enjoyed it for a few years, then, like anything, he drifted away from it to other interests. My friend had purchased it at a second-hand store for $20. It was just taking up space at her house and when she learned that I had an interest in typewriters she asked if I would like it.

The carriage is out of alignment, so it needs some work.
