Description:
This Corona Zephyr was purchased at auction from the estate of Ed Cusher in my hometown of Waterloo, Iowa, in January, 2024. According to the listing, Ed Cusher was a veteran of the US Army Signal Corp in the Korean War, and then worked for 30 years as a milkman for Carnation, before then being a flower deliveryman. Apparently he loved to go to auctions, buy and fix things. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 95, leaving some 11 typewriters behind, including this one.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona Zephyr on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona Zephyr By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
