Description:
Needed a bit of servicing to get it up and working but now works as it should. Only down side is i didn't realise the 0/= was damaged so i will have to be very careful as i dont want it to snap off. The damaged part was noticable in the original listing picture when i bought it, i just didnt see it at the time.

I picked up a couple of typewriters for display and use for the public at events where a police station is set up. The few i have are all Imperial Good Companions. Learnt to type on a manual typewriter, then on an electric one while in comprehensive but have completly forgotten how to touch type. Although pecking at the keys is more in keeping with a station.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Imperial Good Companion on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Imperial Serial Number page and the Imperial Good Companion By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
