Description:
Bought this for the colour. Needs a service, new platen and feed rollers and feet but isn't in a bad condition. A lot of the paint work is intact. Very little chipping. It would seem that this was one of the last batches made before they converted over to war work in 1940 as they stopped keeping records in 1940. Seems to be rare, at least in the U.K., with its ribbon cover, original screw things to hold it, instructions, finger guide, oiler, brush and too top it all off its in a glorious blue colour.

I picked up a couple of typewriters for display and use for the public at events where a police station is set up. The few i have are all Imperial Good Companions. Learnt to type on a manual typewriter, then on an electric one while in comprehensive but have completly forgotten how to touch type. Although pecking at the keys is more in keeping with a station.
