Description:
Hi all! I am new to this and I am really looking for some help with identifying this typewriter. I just acquired it yesterday and will be displayed with my living History Museum, AAFHA (Army Air Forces Historical Association) http://www.aafha.org/ I have never seen another typewriter with a US ARMY AIR CORPS shift key. The typewriter needs cleaning and probably some maintenance. Clicking through your database it must be the KMM Model, pre-WWII, Since they stopped production during the war and the Air Corps was more or less changed to US Army Air Forces around 1942. I don't know where to look for the serial number so any help would be appreciated. I have posted severtal pictures for you to help guide me. Thank you so much!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal KMM on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal KMM By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
