Remington Noiseless 8. This was a find at a thrift store in Arlington, Texas. A good friend was nice enough to snag it and mail it to me.
I have not had a chance to clean it up yet. As you can see from the type sample, the keys bounce around with some letters being doubled up.
As far as the date of this, I'm not sure. I've seen these Noiseless 8 models referred to as "Desk Model" and as "Portable".
The prefix "E" is used for both. If I go with the Desk series, that would date this to 1933. If I go with the Portable series, that would date this to 1932. I will keep it as 193X for now until I can find more information.
Only has single and double space.
