Description:
A gorgeous Urania Klein, with original dealer tag on the base, but no case lid. Got in a trade with a fellow typewriter collector from Baltimore, MD, in August, 2023. This was a war trophy from WWII: some G.I. brought it home in his duffel bag. Told it was used to write-up receipts and invoices at a service station and general store outside of Bel Air, MD, close to Tudor Hall, where the Booth family lid. Just needed a thorough cleaning and a new drawband... and someday maybe a new platen.
