Description:
Taylorix Contofix.
This is a modified Torpedo 6 for use as a non calculating machine in accounting. It has a better tabulator as the ordinary Torpedo 6 (up to 10 million!) and of course it has a Reichsmark key.
This machine can be used like any conventional typewriter.

Actually working with computers in my professional life I take the old mechanics as a compensation. I prefer machines manufactured before WWII, but I don't despise beautiful and good working typewriters from the fifties and sixties like e.g. the Olympia Splendid.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Taylorix Contofix on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Taylorix Serial Number page and the Taylorix Contofix By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
