This was a gifted to me, as a thank you, for a donation I had previously made to a friend for his organization. It seems this was the year the "Deluxe" and the "Quiet" became the trademarked "Quiet De Luxe".

I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
