Dad, typewriter nerd, disc golfer, musician and an all around swell guy. I bought my first machine in around 1997 for $5 (Underwood 6) and restored it in a small cabin I lived in. I had it for the past 24 years when my 8 year old daughter asked if it worked, I brought it down off the shelf and she started playing with it. I then saw on FB Marketplace a 1916 LC Smith that needed a ton of work for $50, and that hooked me, 4 months later I have 26 machines and have plans for all of them. Fantastic hobby. I love them being so Analog.
