Nice and sturdy streamline typewriter, very popular and appreciated in the 30's and 40's of the last century. The peculiarity of this specimen, made in Canada, is the beautiful "British Empire" logo.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
