Description:
Svelte depression era machine. Stripped of most features and given a color coded keyboard and a matching set of rings for teaching children touch typing. Although in good shape cosmetically this example has a broken ribbon spool post/gear. Notably it has an extra large 8cpi sans serif typeface similar in style to the scout/gothic typeface.

I’ve been collecting since about 2014. Have a couple specific categories I’m interested in but really whatever strikes my fancy. I particularly like German, depression era, and early designs.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Bantam on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Bantam By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
