Description:
It honors the name "Noiseless", with a gentle kiss to the wooden platen (even the bell makes a gentle and muffled ding).
Fully operative, just in the need of a new ribbon and new rubber feet.
This one is a very heavy beast, I guess around 30 pounds.
Taking off the mechanism cover you have a Gigeresque vision of the cleverly designed guts of this business beast.
Lovely example of the make, even the embossed "Remington" name on the paper table is a pleasure to see and to touch.
