Description:
I got this 1937 Corona Sterling "flat top" in a mixed industrial/residential area of North Philadelphia in April, 2018. It has elite typeface, and types wonderfully. The case has vintage stickers from MIT and William and Mary. The seller said that it was her boyfriend's grandfather's machine, and "he went to all those places."

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Sterling on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Sterling By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
