Description:
Beautiful Olympia Elite in rare ivory color and italic typeface. Good optical and mechanical condition. I replaced the rear feed rollers by ones from a donor-SM2 and now the machine works fine again. I will add some fotos of the fixed machine in a few days.

Actually working with computers in my professional life I take the old mechanics as a compensation. I prefer machines manufactured before WWII, but I don't despise beautiful and good working typewriters from the fifties and sixties like e.g. the Olympia Splendid.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia Elite on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia Elite By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
