Description:
Another Good Companion now making it four. This one is a nice 1937 with the coloured 'By Appointment' that they added for the coronation of King George VI. It's standard Pica but considering its age it's still nice to type on and in good condition.

I picked up a couple of typewriters for display and use for the public at events where a police station is set up. The few i have are all Imperial Good Companions. Learnt to type on a manual typewriter, then on an electric one while in comprehensive but have completly forgotten how to touch type. Although pecking at the keys is more in keeping with a station.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Imperial Good Companion on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Imperial Serial Number page and the Imperial Good Companion By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
