I picked up this 1936 Hermes Baby in September, 2020, in Northeast Philadelphia. It was given to me by one of my wife's friends. It was her grandparents' machine: they were Jews who fled the Nazi occupation of Eastern Europe before World War II, and brought this with them. It has a Czech keyboard layout. Aside from flat feed rollers, it is in pretty good shape, for fleeing from Nazis. Also--quite curious--it has no serial number. The place where the serial number should be is covered up by what looks to be some sort of imitation leather, and there's nothing underneath it.
