Description:
I fancied a segment shift typewriter and i also liked the colour of it. Its in surprisingly good condition and very nice to type on. Its a bit strange to have a paper arm that folds forwards for me considering all my others fold backwards.

I picked up a couple of typewriters for display and use for the public at events where a police station is set up. The few i have are all Imperial Good Companions. Learnt to type on a manual typewriter, then on an electric one while in comprehensive but have completly forgotten how to touch type. Although pecking at the keys is more in keeping with a station.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Blue Bird 15A on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Blue Bird Serial Number page and the Blue Bird 15A By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
