Description:
Purchased from the grandson of the original owner, Audrine Winkler of Caney, Kansas. Her label is still in the lid. Typewriter passed to her child, who went to memory care in 2025, and so sold this to me with an Olympia. The same family also had a Royal 10 that got cannibalized by some regrettably "crafty" person, RIP. This Remington Model 1 "Noisy Noiseless" required new rollers and feet, purchased from a 3D printer on eBay. The tricky part was the paper fingers: I had to grind the pins down, pull them out, thread on flexible hose, and re-stick them. Luckily, I was able to avoid replacing them; they still work fine even without one end.
