Description:
This is a friend’s typewriter that I helped them fix. Needed a new drawband but otherwise in good shape. Clean, great keys and nice case. They will replace the grommets that hold the chassis onto the case bottom. Feet in relatively good shape given age. Platen original but paper feed is excellent.

I have a passion for analog methods of putting words on paper. I own a letterpress shop that helps to fill this desire, but found typewriters also have a role in producing written materials with a value-added dimension. I'm drawn to working typewriters and renovate them as I am able. I'm pretty handy with things mechanical. Overall, I feel more like an enthusiast with a collection that will get used by design. I understand the temptation to buy them all, but I don't have a store to sell them in. I'm also no expert in repair, so it's a matter of finding the best typefaces and typing feel that helps me to get words on paper. Type on!
