Description:
Found this Remington Standard at a flea market. I bought it as a project. It was missing the screw for the return lever, the line space selector is missing, the space bar was broken, and it needed to be cleaned. The missing screw, broken space bar, and cleaning were easy, but the missing selector is another issue that will take a little more time to sort out.
The only other remaining issue is the worn out feed rollers.
Left the collection on 10-31-2019.

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 16 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 16 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
