Description:
It's in terrible shape, and I probably paid a little too much for it, but for a restoration project it will be a lot of fun. Aside from the normal issues you'd expect with a typewriter this old, it has had its keys replaced (with newer, inappropriate ones), and for some inexplicable reason, two key levers have been cut off the machine. At least those are parts that will be easy enough to fabricate.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Imperial 50 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Imperial Serial Number page and the Imperial 50 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
