Description:
I have become rather leery toward Noiseless typewriters due to their odd typing action and poor print quality. But, when I saw this machine with its unique case I couldnāt resist it. To add to it, it actually types really well and the print quality is really nice!
I have noticed a few things with this machine, including the 'risers' on the feet and that the curved panel around the keys is made of plastic or bakelite.
Will add a type sample soon.

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood Noiseless 77 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood Noiseless 77 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
