Description:
I put this as a Flat Top because i'm not sure what the difference is between a Flat Top and a Silent. Please correct me if I've put it in the wrong category.
Now about the writer. What's not to love? Another smooth typing, classic Smith Corona. Only a couple scratches and scuffs.
Oh and the piece that hangs off the back of the carriage and strikes the piece that then strikes the bell keeps getting stuck when the carriage returns.

I'm a student with a fascination for typewriters. I have a few of my own and am eager to learn and collect more.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona S-C on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona S-C By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
